Super Clean Eggnog Smoothie

Save over half the sugar and fat from regular holiday eggnog with this simple fresh-blended eggnog smoothie recipe! Cut out the heavy cream, sugar, and yolks and add in delicious almond milk, organic vanilla & fragrant spices, and yes, you can still keep the bourbon in there! Average eggnog is 350 calories a cup but this eggnog smoothie saves some major time and half the calories!
Serves 2 
Ingredients:   
1 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or try coconut milk
2 frozen bananas
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon clove
2 teaspoons vanilla extract 
2 tablespoons high-quality bourbon, optional

1 tablespoon grade B maple syrup, optional

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
🙂 Simple to make, easy to whip up in a blender, swap this for regular eggnog and save over half the fat and calories! Enjoy! xxx
