This is such a simple and delicious dip to throw together anytime company is coming over. I always keep canned chickpeas on hand just so I can make a quick hummus or dip in a pinch. If you like making hummus and guacamole, this dip is your new bestie for sure.
1 avocado, halved, pitted, peeled, and cubed
1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed and drained
3 tablespoons tahini paste
2 teaspoons Bragg Liquid Aminos
In a medium bowl, mash the chickpeas with a fork or potato masher. Add the avocado and continue mashing until the chickpeas and avocado are combined. Stir in the tahini paste and Bragg Liquid Aminos and mix to incorporate.
Serve the dip alongside your choice of crudités, toasted bread, or rice crackers. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon to brighten it up after refrigerating (and to add a hit of Vitamin C!).
