Turmeric has become popular these days for good reason: it is a natural super booster and detoxifier. Turmeric has long been used in Indian and Chinese medicine for its natural anti-inflammatory properties. Serves 1-2
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk (can also be made with hot water, if desired)
2-3 cinnamon sticks
1 vanilla bean, open and seeds scraped out (optional)
fresh ginger, optional
Directions:
In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, add all of the ingredients. Simmer on a medium-low heat for approximately 20 minutes. Strain, pour into two serving cups and enjoy!
