5 Graceful Ways to Shine

Wellness > Inspiration

By: Candice Kumai

The graceful, brave and positive woman gets back what she puts out. If you want to attract more good in your life: Love, business, happiness, harmony, peace, then you can attract just that. Be resilient, be kind, be authentic and glow. No matter what’s going on in your life, as Mother Teresa says, “Be kind anyway”. Possess grace within and you will be able to feel the love you put forth. Here are five of my favorite ways to just let it shine: & ignore anyone or anything that is not serving that beautiful heart. x ck

Keep Going: Pursue the things that you love, not for the financial aspect, but because you feel amazing for your contributions. Ex: If you love sweet animals, and it makes you feel good, start working with your local shelter. Or if you have access to extra clothing, books, school supplies, start donating them to a charitable organization on the reg. Do what makes your heart feel good and the money will follow.

Do Your Best: If you only put forth your very best work, you have absolutely nothing to lose. Put fourth a powerful and positive effort in all that you do, or don’t do it at all. As Don Miguel Ruiz’s book, The Four Agreements says “Just do your best–in any circumstance in your life.  It doesn’t matter if you are sick or tired, if you always do your best there is no way you can judge yourself.  And if you don’t judge yourself there is no way you are going to suffer from guilt, blame, and self-punishment.  By always doing your best, you will break a big spell you have been under.”One of my favorite books, The Four Agreements check it.

Shine Bright: If you put fourth your best and keep it all going for the passion, you’ll be able to shine bright, yeah… like a diamond, Rih. Some individuals can have the ability to dim your light, suck the life out of you, not fully support and drag you down with them. Be weary of these “vampires” as my girl Gabby Bernstein refers to them. They are hungry to suck the life out of you, so they may feel better. Instead, surround yourself with positive, like-minded incredible individuals. Surround yourself with people that lift you up, that praise you and know just how precious you are. Surround yourself with people that love and support you, whole-hearteldly. You’ll know who they are.

Bounce Back with Grace: Let anger, resentment and harsh feelings go. Holding on to things that do not serve you will do you no good. It’s like they say, “Drinking poison, and expecting the other to feel it.” Grace is the face that the better person always puts forward. No matter how tough times can get, grace can get you through it. I promise you, life is not going to be a cakewalk, it will throw you for a loop, just when you think everything is going to turn around..  Alas, we are all in this together. And the people that truly love you will exude grace, they will give you some to share and they will get you to that next level… which leads me to my next point…

Surround Yourself with Graceful Angels: If you look around too much, you may miss them. They can be best friends from childhood, your beautiful Mom, a mentor from your past jobs, a new work colleague, your Grandma, a workout instructor, you never know where your graceful angels are. But pay attention to them wisely. Also, when going through tough times, be careful with whom you chat with. My mom (one of my graceful angels) gave me this info, she noted that some people just want to gossip, so it is best to choose your graceful angels wisely and only share with those whom you truly trust, with all your heart.

My best and love xx Candice
