It has been almost 30 years since we have seen the cherry blossoms together🌸. As we meet up in Tokyo & Kyushu this week to reconnect, I finish my next book which is a devotional to her life and my Baachan’s way of life (Grandma). To marry an American soldier, to have raised two American daughters in a foreign land, to have the courage to carry on the traditions with grace and honour. To have experienced life’s ups and downs with a Japanese American girl who tested her…that is my story. This love story continues as I wrap my final chapters during this special time. I cannot begin to describe what this journey has been like.. but the calling itself is deep & goes beyond what we can measure. It’s not a diet, it’s not bullshit or some dumb trend, it is my life’s anthem, my love story with mom. An everlasting piece of history. 💘💘💘💘 see you in Japan xxx ck 🇺🇸🇯🇵🇺🇸🇯🇵
