Candice's DIY Beauty

Lifestyle

By: Candice Kumai

DIY beauty day! I’m sharing some of my favorite beauty hacks that’ll have you feelin’ relaxed and revived in no time! Get your aromatherapy diffuser going, pour yourself a cup of detoxifying tea, and get comfy. You deserve it!

Homemade Dry shampoo:

Keep your hair looking gorgeous and fresh without washing it like crazy! Your hair really needs the natural oils our scalp produces, and oyou want to keep that blowout you got last night forever, right? Save yourself some cash and time by making your OWN dry shampoo at home! All you need is baby powder, cocoa powder and arrowroot powder or cornstarch. Use an old blush brush to apply, and comb thru…with luck, you’ve got all of these ingredients in the pantry already, you clever beauty queen!

Beauty Bath Soaks:

Use leftover green tea, chamomile tea, mint tea and or herbal teas to create amazing bath soaks! Mix and match in loose leaf tea bags or just a piece of muslin. Make them smell amazing with essential oils like lavender, rose, rosemary, peppermint, eucalyptus or cinnamon. Learn how to make your own Homemade Beauty Bath Soak, here.

Remove Make-up In A Cinch:

When last night’s eyeliner and mascara is being stubborn and won’t come off with just water, head straight to your kitchen for some olive  or coconut oil. Yes, I said it! Holistic, natural ooil is your new best friend when it comes to removing eye makeup! You’re welcome! 😉

DIY sugar scrub:

The perfect gift, and you have every ingredient in your cupboard to make this fabulous at-home scrub! Just use leftover sugar, coconut oil, spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and clove to make this at-home treatment! Lasts for up to 3 months!  Try my Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub, I promise it’ll leave your skin feeling hydrated, radiant + glowing!
