Homemade Cinnamon Vanilla Almond Butter

Once you make this simple, homemade, delicious and nutritious nut butter, you’ll never go back to that super processed “peanut butter” again! It’s so easy, and will change the way you PB&J forever!

* Makes approx 1 1/2 cups of Almond Butter

Ingredients:

3 cups raw, whole unroasted almonds

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon organic vanilla extract

1 tablespoon coconut oil

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Measure out 3 cups almonds on a sheet tray and place

Measure out 3 cups almonds on a sheet tray and roast for 10 minutes. Remove and cool.

Place your almonds into a food processor or Vitamix and pulse until a meal forms. Then add your cinnamon, vanilla, and coconut oil. Patiently keep pulsing/blending until a paste begins to form – may take a few minutes.

If needed, carefully stop your appliance, and scrape the sides of the container with a spatula. Continue to mix until creamy. Remove the almond butter from the container using a spatula and eat with sliced organic apple, on gluten-free toast or in your next protein smoothie!

The almond butter can be stored in a mason jar for up to 1 month in the fridge.
